Monzambano - Lake Garda

Trebisonda is an old cluster of stone farmhouses, the core of which dates to 1500 with original features such as the historic barrel vaults and the division of the upper floor into human habitations and the lower for the livestock.

Our cottages have been restored recently and respect the quality of the original materials, such as the old terracotta bricks and pleasing use of natural pine. Every cottage is wholly independent and self reliant, located in a large garden on the edge of the countryside, immersed in the absolute silence. We are in the National Park of the Mincio, among the green Morainic Hills a few kilometres from Lake Garda, Verona and Mantua.

The cottages

The cottages are all on the first floor and are accessible directly from the garden. They are about 50 metres square, rich in natural light and tastefully furnished, combining old pieces of rustic furniture with pieces that are modern and utilitarian.

They are made up of an open plan upper area, in the manner of a gallery or mezzanine level, on which there is a double bed, and a lower level in which there is a living area with sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and spacious bathroom with shower.

On arrival guests are given remote controls for the automatic gate and can use the complimentary parking. Bicycles are usually available for explorations in the woods around the farm, or for trips along the River Mincio.

De salon

Pride of place goes to our personal relationship with our guests. For us it is a genuine pleasure to receive friends from the world over. A great opportunity for getting to know each other is at breakfast, which we lovingly prepare with home made cakes and 5 types of jam made by ourselves. If you prefer privacy when you are getting up, you can of course use the self catering and we can offer a rich hamper selection of our specialities.

Paarden

The price per couple is 75 Euros per night, with breakfast included. If there is a third person, that person pays a supplement of 15 Euros, but children under the age of 3 are free. The price includes heating, a change of linen twice per week, parking and cleaning at the end of the stay.
